A charming hotel with a wonderful, subtle Parisian flair while overviewing the rooftops of Oslo has been the place for the getting-ready. Kristine was wearing a stunning, minimalistic dress from Bo&Luca with elegant hand-beaded elements and heels from Dune London. When the flowers, created by Kirsten Westergård, arrived at the hotel room we were all speechless at the beauty of it and couldn’t take our eyes off it. The delicate Cosmos Flowers, as Kristine wished to have in her bridal bouquet were just sparking and full of beauty in combination with the other vibrant flowers.
For the portraits, we escaped to a place that’s meaningful to Kristine and Steffen, as they both have spent lots of time in this area. We played some good music for our portrait session, from romantic french vibes to tunes from David Bowie, and took a walk through the streets of Oslo.
To reach the venue Hellviktangen, which is located on Nesodden, a half-island outside of Oslo, a boat picked up the guests and sailed us through the Oslo Fjord. Hellviktangen is by far one of my favorite places around Oslo. The proximity to the sea and the creative vibe of the Café are definitely unique. Now the champagne got opened, the glasses got poured and the dinner got served. The atmosphere was purely amazing. Wonderful, touching speeches and laughing til the belly hurts have been not coming too short. What a day to remember!
